Wally Ames Original Oil/Canvas Board Painting Flower Path Pennsylvania 20th C
Wally Ames (1942) is an Impressionist Landscape painter who resides in Vermont. This particular painting is an example of the type of work he is best known for– his floral landscapes. This painting was from the Linda Bryden collection in Pennsylvania. CONDITION: Painting in good used condition but has slight water damage on verso–see photos #2,3. It appears as though there was a slight spill perhaps on the back. Perhaps that is why the frame is missing. The linen mat is in used condition and has some damage in corner–see photo#2 as well as staining on top front–see photo # 6. I assume that the mat was kept on the painting to protect it until it can be reframed. DIMENSIONS: CANVAS: 12″ X 16″ EXTERIOR OF MAT: 13″ X 17″
