He has held more than 70 one man exhibitions in Shropshire and Lancashire and was President of the Ludlow Art Society with his work held in the collection of Ludlow Guildhall.

As a painter she exhibited at the New English Arts Club, Royal Society Of British Artists, Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Pastel Society as well as numerous commercial galleries.She lived in North Walsham Norfolk. This work with labels for the New English Arts Club exhibition of 1965.

A beautiful early 19th century regency English painting of a family of 4 – consisting of a mother, daughter and two boys decked out in the height of fashion for the time period. Painting is done in the manner of Sir John Watson Gordon (British, 1788-1864) From the estate of renowned art collector Gregory Warren Nelson of Reno, Nevada. In overall good condition with minor craquelure throughout, surface discoloration and darkening. Piece has been relined. Minor touchup throughout piece as well. Overall size is 39” x 33”
