Both pieces exhibit significant deterioration, including physical holes and deep fractures where the brittle backing boards have cracked completely through. Additionally, the paint surfaces suffer from extensive age-related failure, featuring widespread lifting, cracking, and areas of loose, flaking paint. The original wooden frames show heavy scuffing and separated corners, while the reverse sides display warping and heavy staining. Please carefully inspect all close-up photos of the holes and flaking prior to purchase, as this lot is heavily distressed and intended solely for restoration, salvage, or a rustic, weathered look.
