Offered here is an exquisite 1883 painting of a floral arrangement by Cornelia Schouten, which has been professionally repaired and framed. Schouten was born in the Netherlands in 1849 and died there in 1929. The painting is in very good or better condition and measures 15 ¼ by 20 ¼ inches. The ornate gold frame measures 23 ⅛ by 28 ⅛ inches. In the lower right-hand corner the painting is signed “Cornelia Schouten 1883.”.
