Gary Keimig is an artist from a family of Wyoming ranchers. He lives and paints in Dubois, Wyoming. This painting is of the famous mountain range the Tetons. The Grand Teton mountain is in the center of the painting. A misty feel and muted coloration is created by the rains that have just past. The viewer is looking at the mountains across a desert field, typical of the Wyoming plains. The painting is signed lower right, with the artists customary paw print, and a description of the painting, title and second signature is on the verso.

I have a Joellen Simmons painting of the Alamo signed on front and back with a special message on back. I personally watched her sign it in 2013 or 2014 when I purchased the painting from Joellen in person in Buda. She was such a nice lady and I have enjoyed every day having this painting in my collection. She told me the black background symbolized the death of Jim Bowie. She pulled a sharpie and signed the front left of the painting and left a nice personal note on the back. unframed. This is a gicle of the original made for the DRT.
