An intriguing California impressionist painting, oil on board, circa 1930-1940. I don’t have any history on this piece, and it is unsigned. Very colorful, has a distinctive style that could only be by a few painters of this era and in this area.

Mid century 40s 50s original Swiss Alps winter landscape oil painting. Very well done with great capture of depth and nice attention to detail especially within the trees. One can note the chalets scattered across the landscape. Medium is oil on canvas board done in a Modernist style. Signed in the bottom left. Looks to read M. Kraulmer. Framed in its original gold painted wood frame. In Good condition. Painting is bold and crisp. Shows gentle wear and toning. Frame is clean. Displays very handsomely. Painting measures 16” x 20” and 22 1/2” x 20 1/2” with the frame.
