This wonderful watercolor by collected Mississippi artist Lem Seawright is titled “Twin Oaks Plantation” and dated 1964. It features a stylized southern landscape with cottage, a boy and old hound dog and a 1950s station wagon in the background. Expertly painted with nice colors and overall structure, it’s easy to see why Lem was such a popular southern artist. Condition is very good and comes in its original frame.
