Morris Katz 1976 Original Oil Painting Large 32” Heron Landscape MCM Impasto Art
This isn’t one of Katz’s common small-format sketches. The Art: The impasto texture is exceptionally well-preserved, showcasing thick, architectural “peaks” of paint that provide a 3D effect on the wall.
GABRIEL PORTOLES MODERNIST FAMILY PORTRAIT 1976 MID CENTURY PAINTING FRAMED
This beautiful painting by Gabriel Portoles signed upper right is a stunning example of modernist art. Created in 1976, it features a family portrait with blue eyes, mother, and children. The piece is framed and measures approximately 31.5 inches in height and 27.5 inches in width. The painting is a one-of-a-kind piece, signed by the artist. It is a perfect addition to any art collection and will add a touch of inspiration to any room. The frame has minor signs of wear from storage. There are blemishes/scratches unfortunately to the upper right of the painting that can be seen in the pictures. There is a small blemish in the upper right also. Towards the lower middle left there are also scratches. Please review pictures closely. In my opinion the blemishes do not totally take away from this piece’s beauty. The piece is painted on a wood board measuring 20” in width and 24” in height. The piece is titled “Mother & Child”. The piece will likely be custom packed with acid free paper then plastic wraps and in carton will be created. The piece will then be secured in the shipping carton. Buyer happiness is a priority. Please review pictures closely and ask questions if needed. Returns will be considered on a case by case scenario.
