Beatrice Ash -Rural Northwest River View w/ Smoke House circa 1950s -WA? Alaska?
Offered here is a very nice northwest landscape by California artist Beatrice Ash, circa mid 20th century. Painting is oil on canvas board. Painting is unsigned but bears estate label verso. The painting size is 24 x 30 inches and the overall framed size is ~30 1/2 x 36 1/2 inches. This painting is in very good, clean condition with bright color and vintage wood framing. Location is not identified but appears to be in the American northwest, and possibly Alaska. The conical, shingled structure, I assume to be some kind of smoke house for fish. Painting has wonderful rich color and looks to be an early morning view. —————————————— Beatrice Ash (1900-1968) Beatrice Ash -Rural Northwest River View w/ Smoke House circa 1950s -WA? Alaska?
