1950s NOCTURNAL CITY STREET SCENE PEOPLE GOING TO THE THEATER SHOPS PAINTING
I purchased this here in Portland, Oregon from an estate of a long time set director for our local broadway theater. I believe it is a rendition done in gouache of a set scene of people bustling about. We believe this to be a gouache on board that is unsigned and dates to the latest 1950s to the earliest 1960s (most of his work was done at this time). The original work measures 10 7/8” x 14” and is matted.
