Early 19th C American or English Watercolor Portrait Miniature of Young Girl
Very well done portrait of a young girl holding a red shoe. Frame is old and possibly original. It’s either English or American, not sure, but lean American. Found in a Pinehurst, North Carolina estate. Condition looks good, but note there is a line running diagonally through the painting (see photos). Dates to the early 19th century (1800-1820).
