Signed and dated on lower right Medium: Mixed medium, watercolor and pastel on paper Sold unframed Measures: 12.75” x 19.75” Dates: date is very faint, it looks like it might read 1966 but not sure. Condition: Needs restoration! As shown there are lines around artist signature. I am not sure if this is intentional or not. Also, there are smears, smudges, spots, lines, scuffs, scribbles, abrasions, inpainting?, tiny pin holes on corners from hanging, crease line and other wear. Edges of painting have tiny tears, once framed you probably won’t notice them. Needs some love but sure is worth it! Beautiful Sunset reflection painting! Needs to be framed. Sold as-is

Beautiful study portrait by mystery artist! Painting was photographed outside glass for up close and detailed imagery of conditions. Painting was reframed. Artist: Unknown No signature to be found Purchased out of California. Uncertain of the origin of painting Medium: acrylic and or mixed medium on paper Dates: exact age is unknown as painting is not dated and artist is unknown. Looks to be 60’s to 70’s but not certain. Framed behind glass (see condition) Painting is not mounted nor laid to board Measures: Painting- 18.5” x 24” Frame- 21” x 27” Condition: Damage to sides and corners of painting. Several tears, rips, missing corner pieces, loss, bends, wrinkles, heavy toning, acid burn, soiling to back of sheet, spots, stains, paint drips, lint beneath paint, scuffs, scratches, waviness, areas of paint loss and wear from age. Needs professional restoration and framing (to mount painting if desired). I have kept this painting behind glass to protect any further damage to happen. Beautifully and fluently painted and well composed. Painting is in good condition – some craquelure commensurate with age and age related marks. A charming piece of artwork that hung in the boatroom of our family’s home in Connecticut. The detail is nice, and gives off the atmosphere of a working fisherman’s wharf on the East Coast.
