2012 Georgia Red Mud Steven Chandler / Chicken George Darsey TX Folk Art BBQ Col
The painting is a 2012 collaboration between Steven Chandler “Georgia Red Mud” and George Zupp “Chicken George” from Texas. This original folk art piece measures 11 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches and is made on wood, showcasing a quirky Americana theme with a touch of demonic BBQ elements. The painting is unframed and one of a kind, making it a standout piece of art that captures the essence of folk art caricature and figures. Signed on the front and back. On the back Chicken George wrote “Beetin BBQ smoken time. 50 good hits on a rump roast”. Steven Chandler wrote “BBQ Collaboration Georgia Red Mud Steven Chandler Watkinsville Georgia 2012”. You don’t see many from either of these men let alone both in one piece of art.
